Stratford PTSA Bylaws – Updates, Proposed Amendments and New Standing Rules

The Stratford PTSA bylaws are due to be reviewed and updated this school year. A Bylaws and Standing Rules Committee was formed to perform this review. The members of this Committee are Kim Selzman, Kim Wood, Missy Shelton and Julie Haralson (ex officio). The Committee proposes that the bylaws be updated as required by Texas PTA and be amended to remove the office of Historian and institute a new office of 4th Vice President for Technology. The committee also recommends that standing rules by adopted setting forth the Sparta Fund guidelines. The specific changes to the bylaws and the proposed standing rules can be found in the attached documents. These changes will be discussed and voted upon at the next regular meeting of the Stratford PTSA on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. in the Stratford Auditorium.
