2024-2025 Stratford PTSA Senior Student Scholarship  

Attention Seniors!!!

The Stratford PTSA will be offering deserving PTSA members of the Stratford and SBAI senior class an opportunity to receive a $1,000 scholarship.

 

This scholarship application is only for Stratford and SBAI Seniors who have been members of SHS PTSA for at least two years.

Application Requirements

 

1.  Must be a current SHS or SBAI Senior student with an SHS PTSA membership for at least two years. 

2.  Complete the online application. 

3.  Write an essay in 250 words or less describing an event, experience, or activity you have had or been a part of that has contributed to your personal growth and how this growth has influenced your ideals and choices in life.  

4.  Submit your unofficial transcript from Skyward portfolio.

5.  Procure two teacher recommendations. See details below. 

6.  Complete all of the above by: Deadline Coming Soon

 

 

Scholarship winners will be announced at the Stratford Senior Awards Night. Award winners will receive a letter requesting information for scholarship disbursement (name and address of the school you will be attending as well as your college student ID). The funds will be sent directly to the school. If students do not provide this information to the Stratford PTSA by the requested date, the funds will be offered to alternates selected by the scholarship committee.

Teacher Recommendations

 

Recommendations are needed from two teachers. There is a simple recommendation form that can be filled out online by the teacher. We recommend students email the request to their teachers and include the links below for the teacher's convenience. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that the teacher submits the recommendation by the application deadline above.
